Pork

Our piglets are acquired between 19-28 days old from a premier local commercial pig farmer and are raised free-range for approximately 7-8 months. We are committed to providing our animals with the highest quality stress free environment for them to thrive and develop. In addition, by feeding our pigs a custom blend of feed, consisting of ground corn and mineral mixture, we can promote the perfect ratio of lean and juicy in our final meat product.

At ShangriLa Farms, we want to promote responsible farming that helps our customers feel great about the produce they feed their family. By practicing hormone free growth and eliminating overcrowding, we ensure our animals are all natural, healthy, and stress free (providing a more tender product).

Beef

At the start of our journey in 2016, ShangriLa Farms acquired a limited number of breeding cattle to live at our Lawton location. Our goal is to sustainably breed our calves internally to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. Our cattle freely graze our fields for 21-23 months as they grow to the most efficient size for processing.

In addition to breeding and raising our cattle on-site, we also work with other local farmers to supplement our inventory of Black Angus Cows to ensure we can meet our annual customer’s needs. These farmers we work with have taught us much of what we know in raising cattle and follow similar practices in breeding and raising their cows. As noted above, we place a strong emphasis on the animals that we sell are raised responsibly and in a stress-free environment

At this time, we can offer our customers our Black Angus Cows in quarter, half, or whole sizes.
